Competition in this Category
Competition in this category is not as close as expected. Xiaomi took second place with only 17.0 million shipments, less than half of Apple’s.
Even the market share of Xiaomi is less than half of Apple’s in this ranking. The third and fourth position are taken by Huawei and Samsung, posted the year-to-year growth of 87.2% and 32.2%, respectively.
Samsung has invested more in true wireless Ear buds and has released new products quickly, which means that it can further grow its market share for next year.
