9- Here you can see your partitions (System Reserved).

We need a drive letter for our System Reserved portion.

10- Right click on Widows start button and then select disk management.

11- Right click on your system reserved partition and then select change drive letter and path.

12- Click Add

13- Select a letter and then click ok.

14- Here you can see a drive letter (H) assigned.

15- Go back to EaseUS partition master console and then select reload disk info icon.

16- Right click on the C drive and then select Resize/Move.

17- Here we can drag the slider or up arrow key next to available before to ensure how much free space we need. Then it will allow us to take free space from other partitions. Click ok.

18- Select Execute I Operation button to Apply this change.

19- Click Apply

20- Click Yes to reboot the system.

21- Now select your System Reserved partition (H) and then select Resize/Move.

22- Here you can see Unallocated/Available After can drag the slider to increase the reserved partition size.

23- The reserved partition size is (1.22GB), click ok.

24- Click on Execute I Operation button.

25- Click Apply.

26- Click Finish

27- The System Reserved partition is 1.19 GB.

Now you can create a new system image successfully in Windows 7/8/10.

In this article, I am going to show you how to setup and configure file history backup for Windows10. File History is a helpful tool that lets you backup files on your computer to any hard disk connected to it. You can use any external or internal hard drive for file history back up. You can also backup to a network location if any available.
File History will automatically back up your Favorites, Contacts, Desktop items, and etc.
All this data you want to back up can add up in a hurry, but you also can configure File History to exclude certain files, folders, and how often it saves copies of files.

How to turn on File History

By default File History is turned off. To start backup file history, you should connect a secondary drive to your computer or that a network is set up.

1- Click the Start button and then select Settings button.

2- Select Update & Security.

3- On your left pane, select Backup and then, select Add a drive under back up using file history.

4- The available drives will displays on the left and select one you want to use.

Select the folder you don’t want to Under the Back up these folders option, and then select Remove.

You can also particularly exclude folders. For instance, if there is a subfolder in one of the folders being backed up that you don’t need to backup, you can exclude that subfolder.
8- Select Add a folder, under the Exclude these folders option.

9- Choose a folder you want to exclude on the Select Folder dialog box and then select Choose this folder.

10- Select Back up now to start the backup under Overview.

11- Now you can see backing up your data. But, unfortunately, there is no time limit listed. The initial backup may take little while.

12- File history backup successfully completed.

Configure File History Back Up to a Network Location

As I mentioned above, we can use a network location for our backup as well. Maybe you have NAS ( network attached storage or a home server that you want to use.

1- In the Backup options window, if did not setup, and the select See advanced settings.

2- Under control panel home, click on Select drive.

3- Select a File History drive screen appears, you can see local and network drives listed. If you don’t have a network drive you want to use, then select Add a network location.

4- Type your network drive share folder path and then choose select folder.

5- Successfully added network drive.

How to restore files from File History

If anything goes wrong and you loss files, you can simply restore them from the File History backup. Ensure the disk that contains the backup is connected to your computer or on the network location is accessible.

For Windows 10 feature upgrades, change the number of rollback days (10-30).

We can run command below to change the Duration of rollback to the previous feature release Default from 10 days to 30 days.
Run the command prompt as with administrator.
Enter command DISM /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindow to find the number of rollback days (by default ten days) currently set on your computer.

Type command DISM /Online /Set-OSUninstallWindow /Value:30 to customize and then set the number of rollback days for your PC.

Note: Value: 30 constitute the days by which you need to extend the Windows Rollback function. You can set value to any customized number depending on your choice.
Type DISM /Online /Get-OSUninstallWindow and then check this time you notice the number of rollback days changed to 30 days as shown.

Note: If you manually deleted the old Windows file named windows.old using Disk Cleanup, or it’s more than 30 days since the windows upgrade you may face error. Otherwise, this process will successfully remove the windows 10 20H2 update and rollback to the previous windows 10 version 2004.

How to Turn AutoPlay on or off using Settings Menu

The easiest way to enable or disable AutoPlay using Windows 10 Settings menu.

1- Press Windows key + R and then, type “ms-settings:autoplay” in the open box and press enter to open the AutoPlay tab of the Devices section inside the Windows 10 Settings menu.

In the AutoPlay option, enable or disable the toggle under Use AutoPlay for all media and devices to turn the feature on and off.
If you want to enable AutoPlay, you can take advantage of this screen by changing the defaults of under Choose AutoPlay Defaults: Removable drive, Memory cards other devices that you might have plugged in.”

No need to reboot your computer.

Disable/Enable AutoPlay in Windows 10 via Control Panel

Select search bar, type “control” and then press Enter to open Control Panel.

In the Control Panel, change the View by drop-down menu and then click on AutoPlay.

In order to disable AutoPlay, uncheck the box associated with Use AutoPlay for all media, devices and then press the Save button.
If you wish to enable AutoPlay for all devices and media, you can check the box associated with Use AutoPlay for all media and devices and select the Save Button.

Note: Additionally, we can choose default actions based on devices or media by using the various drop-down menus. If you need to reset the AutoPlay behavior to default settings. Scroll all the way down and click on the Reset all defaults button.
No need to reboot your computer.

Disable or Enable AutoPlay via Registry Editor

Warning: Bear in mind that operating other changes via Registry Editor might affect the overall health of your PC. For the purpose of avoide any unpleasantries, please make sure that you follow up step 2 where we backup the registry for the purpose of ensure a fail-safe method.
Press Windows key + R and then, type “regedit“, press Enter, and then click on Yes.

In the Registry Editor, select File and then Export. Then, select a name, location for the Registry backup and press the Save button.

Note: If anything goes wrong, select File, Import. And then select the backup that you previously created to restore the Registry to a healthy state.
Using the left pane of Registry Editor, go to the following location.

Double-click on DisableAutoplay. Type 0 in the Value data box to enable AutoPlay or type 1 to disable AutoPlay.

Note: If you are unable to find a DisableAutoplay value inside the previously specified location, you need to create it yourself. Right-click in the empty place and select New, Dword (32-bit) Value Data and then type name DisableAutoplay.
Close the Registry Editor window and then reboot the computer to force the changes to take effect. After the restarting, AutoPlay will be enabled (or disabled).

Disabling/Enabling AutoPlay via Local Group Policy Editor

This method is to be preferred if you are trying to enforce a rule that will apply to all users that are using the machine.

Hold Windows key + R, type “gpedit“, press Enter, and click the Yes button at the UAC (User Account Control) prompt to open the Local Group Policy Editor with administrative privileges.

1- Press Windows key + R, A pop-up dialogue box will appear. Type secpol.msc in the textbox named Open and then click ok.

2- Local Security Policy.

3- Expand Local Policies listed on the left side in the Local Policy Window and then select Security Options.
Afterward, scroll down to the right side, and double-click the entry Interactive Logon: Do Not Require CTRL+ALT+DEL.

4- Click on the Enabled checkbox if you want to disable Secure Sign-in in Windows 10 and then click ok.
Select the Disabled checkbox if you want to enable Secure Sign-in in Windows 10 and then click ok.
Close the opened window and then restart your computer.

Using Registry Editor

In this 3rd step I will edit in Registry Editor Settings.
1- Press Windows key + R and type regedit and then click ok.

3- Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE listed in the Registry Editor window & navigate through the following subdomains under there.
Select Winlogon, scroll to the right side, and double-click the entry DisableCAD.

Enabling System Restore

How to enable system restore in Windows, follow the below steps.

1- Click on Windows Search bar type System Restore and then click on Create a restore point.

2- Select system protection tab, select available disk (Local Disk C (System Drive) under protection settings.
By default it is disabled, choose that disk and then click on Configure button to enable the protection.

3- Select turn on system protection checkbox; You can also allocate the maximum disk space for system protection. You can set it to whatever value you want and then OK.
Now, the operating system automatically creates a restore point whenever an alteration happens inside your Windows.

4- If you need to configure a manual restore point.
To create system restores manually, Click on Create button while selecting the Local Disk C inside System protection.

5- Type the description of your restore point. It is important to manage the restore points accordingly.

Click on Create button to start the process.
