3- Select Disk Recovery (Recover your computer from the backup.

4- Then select the Browse button.

5- Browse your Acronis backup, Select your backup to be used for recovery and then click ok.

6- Select a backup from which you want to recover and click on the Next button.

7- Under the recovery method, select Recover whole disks and partitions and click on next.

8- Recovery your system to a previous point in time, select a Recovery Point and click next.

9- On what to recover screen locate the system disk and mark the checkbox and click next.

10- Acronis True Image analyzing destination partition Where we need to recover.

11- Select a destination of Disk 1 and click next.

12- Deletion of all the partitions on the destination hard disk drive click ok.

13- Read the summary of the operations and click the Proceed to start recovery.

14- Acronis recovery operation in progress.

15- Acronis True Image successfully recovered, click ok. Remove the rescue bootable media and boot from the recovered system partition. After ensuring that you simply have recovered Windows to the state you would like, restore the first boot order.

1- Start Acronis True Image and then choose the Backup menu, Select down arrow option and choose to Add existing backup.

2- Brows your network location path, select your Acronis backup tib the one you want to restore and then click the add button.

3- Select the Recovery tab and then select Partition and under Recover to select the partition where you want to recover.

4- Select the Manage partition button.

5- Here you can select the letter, label, partition type and click ok.

6- Select the Recover now button to start partition recovery.

7- To start the recovery process, click the Recover button.

8- After restarting the computer, partition recovery is in progress.

How to Backup Disks or Partitions in Acronis True Image 2020.

Backup disks and partitions contain all the data stored on the disk or partition. This backup type is usually used to create the same copy of a system partition of the whole system disk. This backup allows you to recover your entire computer partition.

How to backup disk or partitions Acronis 2020

1- Start Acronis True Image 2020 and then select Backup on the sidebar.

2- Click + Add backup button, To rename the backup, click the arrow next to the backup name so, type a backup name (in my case Windows C Drive).

3- Select the Backup source area.

4- Select the Disks and partitions option.

5- Under backup source opened window, select the checkboxes for the disks that you need to backup, Select the Full partition list to view hidden partitions and click the OK button.

6- Select the Backup destination options, and then select a destination for the backup.

7- Now you can select a destination for the backup, To Acronis Cloud, Your External drive. Acronis True Image also detects NAS in the network and displays it in the list of available destinations, if you want to set a custom location for the backup, and then select the Browse button.

8- Select your network shared folder where you want to save disk backup and click ok.

9- Select the options button.

10- Here you can set the options for the backup, including
Schedule, Backup scheme, Notification, Exclusions, and Advanced and Password protection. For more statistics see Backup options. [optional step] Click the Add a remark icon, and then kinda comment to the backup version. Backup remarks will assist you to locate the essential model later when getting better your records.

11- To run the backup immediately, select the Back up now button, or select the down arrow button to select another start time option.

In Acronis True Image 2020, you can restore files and folders both from file-level backups or from disk and entire computer backups.

Acronis True Image must be installed on the Windows computer in order to perform recovery.

Restore Files and Folders

1- Start Acronis True Image and click Backup from the menu. To Add Backup, click on down arrow options and then select add existing backup.

2- Browse the location where you saved your Acronis backup, so from the backup list, select the backup which contains the files or folders that you want to recover and then click add.

3- Acronis True Image will display possible recovery modes for this backup. Depending on type of backup, possible recovery modes are Entire PC, Disks, Partitions, Files. Select the files and folders that you want to recover, and then click Next.

4- Now select recovery options.

5- Here you can configure email notification.

6- In advanced options, you can set recovery process priority, file level security settings and etc. and then click the ok button.

7- By default, it will recover your data to its original location. So, click the Browse button if you want to recover to a new location.

8- Select a location where you want to restore and then click ok.

9- to start out the recovery process, click the Recover now button.

10- you’ll stop the recovery by clicking Cancel. Please confine the mind that the aborted recovery should cause changes within the destination folder.

11- files and folders recovery successfully completed.

12- Recovered Folder.

To recover files and folders directly from File Explorer on a machine where Acronis True Image 2020 is installed.

1- In Windows PC where you need to restore files and folders, so browse the saved Acronis backup location. Double click the Acronis backup .tib file.

2- Double click on backup to open file or folder that you want to recover.

3- Open c drive.

4- Drag and drop or copy and paste the file to a selected folder.

If you want to backup files and folders, for example, if you have several disks and you want to back up only a specific folder with important documents.

Backup files & folders on a Windows computer.

1- Start Acronis True Image and select Backup options. so click the backup source icon.

2- Here you can select the type of items you want to back up. so select Files and folders.

3- From here you can select specific files or folders that you want to back up and then click ok.

4- Select the backup destination icon.

5- Select a destination path that where you want to save your files and folder backup. Acronis Cloud, (You need Acronis True Image Advanced or Premium to be able to back up to Acronis Cloud), External drive, network shared folder, I want to save to my network drive, click Browse.

6- Select your network shared folder and click ok.

7- Select the Options button.

8- Here you can set the options for the backup, including
Schedule, Backup scheme, Notification, Exclusions, and Advanced

9- Select down arrow key to select another start time options, or click Back up now.

10- Backup in progress.

1- Selecting the Exclusions options, select exclude Files matching the following criteria checkbox.

Backup Email Notifications

To set up e-mail notifications for a backup plan, so under the Backup and Select Options tab and then choose Notifications.

Select the Send e-mail notifications about the operation state and then click on show simple settings.
Type your email address in the To and From field.
Under server, settings type the SMTP address.
Acronic Select TLS under encryption options and then set the port of the outgoing mail server.
Select the SMTP authentication checkbox, and then enter the user name and password.
Select additional notification settings.

Version chain sche-me – the program creates a sequence of full and differential backup versions and deletes versions older than 6 months.

Incremental – select to make a full version after every five incremental versions. this is often the default scheme.

Differential – A differential backup version stores the changes that have occurred since the last full version.

Custom – select to line up a scheme manually.

How to set backup schedule Acronis True Image 2020.

Daily – Every the operation starts once or twice a day (for example, every 1 hour, 2 hours) Once a day select hours and minutes manually, Twice a day select the time when you want to start back up.

Weekly – Select the days on which you want to start the weekly backup job, set the operations to start time, select hours and minutes.

Monthly – Select the days of the month on which you want to start the monthly backup job, set the operations to start time, select hours and minutes.

Upon Event – the backup job will start, when an external device is connect, User login, User logoff, System shutdown or restart, System startup with delay (in minutes).

Do not schedule – The Backup Schedule Acronis, the scheduler will be turned off for the current operation. The backup will run when you click Back up now.
