    Let’s see how to export virtual machine to OVA using VirtualBox. In the past, moving a virtual machine (VM) from one computer to another was difficult.     I will try to control my computer with my smartphone. So, we need to open TeamViewer on the computer to get the Partner ID. Type partner ID and click on Remote control on the Android device.

    I clicked on Access My Computer to see what had happened. The top or middle one on the screen does not matter. Then it asked me to sign into my Google account with my email and password.

    If you want to install Chrome Remote Desktop, click on Install in the small box in the lower right-hand corner. A second box will then appear towards the top.

    Once I installed it on the web version, a small orange box asked me to create a PIN. I completed it, and it gave me a code number that was only useful for five minutes.

    If you want to delete something, just click on the delete button.

    Incorrect DNS settings.
    Incorrect time and time zone settings are necessary.

    If the first step doesn’t work, then move on to the second step.

    Flush your DNS cache
    Make sure all RPC services are running on your computer
    Verify RPC isn’t blocked by your firewall
    Boot PC using a normal startup
    Enable IPv6 and file & printer sharing
    Edit your registry settings

    The screenshots used in this blog are from Windows 10; however, the instructions for Windows 11 are almost the same as the instructions for earlier versions of Windows.

    Make sure that all RPC services are running on your computer.
    Search for the Services app and run as an administrator.

    Find the DCOM Server Process Launcher service and right-click on it, then choose properties.

    The startup type is set to Automatic.
    Service status is running.
    If they don’t, set the Startup type to Automatic and start the service.

    Open the run box (Windows + R key), type msconfig, and open it.

    In the General tab, make sure Normal startup is selected. If it isn’t, select it, then click OK and restart your PC to see if the issue is resolved.

    An RPC server is unavailable. RDP may be caused by a misconfigured local network connection. Enabling IPv6 and File and printer sharing on the network can fix the problem.

    Right-click on the network connection and select Properties.

    Restart your computer and see if the problem is fixed.

    Verify that RPC Isn’t Blocked by your Firewall

    Search for the Firewall & network protection system settings and open it.
    Click Allow an app through the firewall.
    Locate Remote Assistance and ensure that both its Public and Private boxes are checked.
    If you make any changes, select Save and restart your system to verify if the issue is resolved.
    A selective startup is suitable for troubleshooting problems, but it may prevent RPC services from loading.

    Type regedit in the run box and select ok.

    Back up your registry by clicking File and Export.

    Warning: Do not skip this step. Changing the registry can seriously damage your Windows installation. Always make sure that you possess a backup to restore.

    Go to the following path.

    As you observed earlier, Calculator’s default App theme setting is set to Use system setting. If you choose a Dark theme for Windows, the Calculator app will reflect the changes.     To enable Dark Mode in the Calculator app via Windows Settings, right-click on the Windows start icon in the Taskbar or hold the Windows key + X to open the Quick Access menu and choose Settings app from the list of options.     In the Windows Settings app, you will find several tabs on the left. Select Personalization, and next, click on Colors on the right.

    You will now find three options: Light, which is selected by default, Dark, which we will be selecting, and Custom, which allows you to set different modes for Windows elements and apps. In this case, Dark and Custom would do, but we would choose the latter since we intend for the changes to be applied across the system.

    All pages you have viewed recently are also listed under your Recent history, so you can scroll down and locate the page you would like to return to. Clicking Manage History will take you to a list of visited pages categorized by time (today, yesterday, etc.)

    If you have activated Never Remember history in your Firefox Privacy and Security settings, once you have closed the browser, it is no longer possible to restore the last session or reopen recently closed tabs.

    If you would like Firefox to automatically return to your last browsing session every time you open it, go to Firefox Settings, General, Startup, and tick the box Restore the previous session.

    Select the System tab and click on the Processor option. Select as many cores as you can comfortably accommodate. You can allocate multiple cores to the VM if you possess a multi-core system. Extended features such as VT-x and AMD-V can also be enabled if your CPU supports them.

Ideally, 16MB should be enough for a basic installation, but if you want a smoother experience, allocate as much as possible. Adding 3D acceleration is not essential, but it can help speed up applications that require 3D acceleration.

    On the Oracle VM VirtualBox manager interface, click on the machine tab, select new, or select the New icon to create a new virtual machine.

    On the virtual machine name and operating system interface, enter a name and folder path where you want to save this virtual machine. Click next. The VirtualBox will automatically provide the Type and Version of the OS used in the virtual machine by using the name. We use Ubuntu 22, so VirtualBox sets the Type to Linux and Version to Ubuntu.

    Select the VM’s available memory and click next. It will vary depending on your system. We have 4GB of RAM and an 8-core processor so that you can assign as per requirements to the VM. Click next

    Under virtual hard disk, select “Create a virtual hard disk now”.

    Select the size of your Ubuntu virtual machine. We will keep the virtual disk size, which is 50 GB, and choose next.

    This blog is intended to help you install Oracle VirtualBox on Windows so that you can install Linux or Windows on virtual machines. Do you want to try a different operating system but don’t want to risk installing it on your primary computer? Can software be tested on various platforms without setting up different computers? Don’t worry. You can install VirtualBox on Windows 11/10 and create guest VMs instead of using Windows 10/11.

    Virtual Machine hide our PCs’ hardware, like the CPU, hard drives, memory, network interface cards (NICs), and more, into several different execution environments that we can choose from. This makes it seem like each execution environment is a separate computer. Take VirtualBox as an example.

    Virtual machines are created for several reasons, all of which are fundamentally linked to the capability of sharing the same basic hardware while also being able to run different operating systems simultaneously.
